YOUR WORKING DAY:
- Design, plan, and optimize piping and duct systems for high-temperature applications
- Develop piping layouts and detailed designs, considering installation aspects, technical guidelines, and process requirements based on P&ID and PFD
- Conduct static stress analyses for various load cases using CAESAR II and interpret stress results
- Create detailed technical drawings, including:
- Isometric drawings
- Sectional 2D drawings
- Standard drawings of pipe supports
- Support project management in the areas of piping and plant design
- Ensure compliance with American and European norms and standards, such as ASME B31.3, EN 13480-3, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and AD 2000
- Work on modularization of systems to improve scalability and efficiency
- Support the packaging of components for optimized assembly and transport
- Maintain and create technical records and documentation
